SlipKnoT came from Des Moines Iowa, otherwise known as the middle of nowhere. They formed in 1995, and released their self-produced album, Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. (M.F.K.R.) in 1996. That album cost them nearly $30,000 to make, and they made little to nothing back. Just the satisfaction that they made good music kept them going. The nine members are: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. But you can refer to them as DJ Sid, Drummer Joey, Bassist Paul, Custom Percussionist Chris, Guitarist James, Sampler Craig (aka 133), Custom Percussionist Shawn (aka Clown), Guitarist Mick, and Singer Corey
